Job offer: Intermediate or Senior Backend (Java) Developer Freelancer (m/f)

Client location: Germany 

Working location: remote only (±3 hours from CET)

For long-term collaboration, we are seeking an experienced Java Developer Freelancer (m/f) who has extensive knowledge in Java application development as well as experience with SpringBoot, Kotlin, graphQL, JPA (Hibernate), and MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in conversational German is required
• Having your own company (firm) is a prerequisite
• Comprehensive experience in development with Java and SpringBoot
• Ideally Kotlin skills or fast pickup of the language in a BE environment
• Solid understanding of using JPA (Hibernate) and MySQL/PostgreSQL
• Experience with CI/CD (preferably Gitlab) for continuous integration and deployment of applications
• Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or AWS (nice to have: MS Azure Application Insight and App Configuration experience)
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm Charts or Docker is advantageous

Working environment:

• Participation in daily calls during CET working hours
• Working in a team in a Scrum setting
